Achieving Your Goals

Bipolar I Disorder shouldn’t stop you from working to achieve your goals. By setting goals and taking your medicine as prescribed by your doctor, you have a better chance to be the person you want to be.

Having goals can give you the motivation to get better and stay better. Talk with your treatment team and your support group of family or friends as you begin to set your goals. They want to see you succeed and will help you work toward accomplishing them.

Additionally, think about the steps that will be needed to reach these goals. This will allow you to see improvement along the way.
